2026 Odds Board

Vegas doesn't do the Gallagher Cup, so we did it ourselves. Odds built off real handicaps, real rosters, and zero shame.

Gallagher Cup Winner

Team Timmy: -160 Team Paddy: +140

Same last name, same blood, opposite sides of the draft board — and Tim's 3-0 as captain against Paddy.

The case for Timmy this year: no weak links. Every guy on this roster runs single-digit to mid-teens, and Kade Rosenwald walks in at a 5.0 — second-lowest handicap in the entire field for a guy who's never played a Cup match in his life. And Timmy himself isn't just leaning on the captain's armband — he leads the entire field in career points and sits second in career win %. Most complete résumé in the Cup, worn by the guy drawing up the pairings.

The case for Paddy: he's got the best player alive. Paddy Gs is a scratch 2.0 — lowest handicap in the Cup by a mile — but behind him it's Jimmy closing depositions and strip clubs in the same breath, Kurt running on Jäger fumes, and Drew sipping Gin & Juice through 18 holes of "no rush, no stress." If Paddy can drag this crew across the finish line, it's a live dog. If not, it's Tim's fourth straight.

Format Breakdown, By the Numbers

Front 9, Best-Ball: near-full strength for both teams — no hiding behind the formula. This is where you find out who's actually a 12 and who's a 12 "on paper"

Back 9, Modified Alt-Shot: the marriage-ender. Math leans hard on the stronger player, so pairing your ace with your worst guy doesn't cushion the gap the way people think — one bad swing torches the hole anyway. Paddy Gs (2.0) + Jimmy (19) is a coin flip dressed up as strategy. Also peak season for a Deano "medical timeout" right after his partner finds the water.. DOAH!

Scramble Rounds: handicaps barely matter — just raw ball-striking. Sandbaggers get caught red-handed. Also where Jimmy needs to have his "levels" dialed in — last year's 6-1-1 wasn't an accident, but it depends which Jimmy shows up

Day 3, Individual Match Play: zero formula, zero teammate to blame. Everyone's real personality shows up here — and if Team Paddy's down heading into Day 3, don't expect a calm, focused Paddy. Expect a guy playing angry after two days of carrying dead weight, with a track record of clubs that don't survive that mood

Bets for the weekend!!

Rosenwald Family Feud — does Kade finally beat Kurt at something that isn't a driveway putting contest: Kade already beat his dad at golf once. Beating him in an actual Cup match, sober, on a Saturday? That's the real test.

Over/Under - Kurt still standing by Round 3: Jäger fueled last year's run and "he forgot every rule" by Saturday afternoon. The line is set low on purpose.

First team to need Steveo's spreadsheet to settle an argument: barefoot, beer in hand, and somehow still the only guy anyone trusts with the scoring app?!

Over/Under - Athletic J's Postgame Interview: # of F-bombs directed at Tim: history says the number isn't low!

Over/Under - Catfish's shoulder holding up all 3 days: Mitch had surgery after deciding a mogul run needed his input this past winter. Which means Team Timmy is rolling the dice on a guy who hasn't tested a real shoulder-torquing alt-shot swing under Cup pressure yet. Bold move showing off on skis in the offseason, Catfish. Bold move!!

Over/Under - Adam & Timmy's combined tee-shot "WHEEE!" count: two guys, two matching miss-right slices, one shared soundtrack. Every time one of them airmails a tee shot into the next fairway, you hear it before you see it. The over/under is set high for a reason

Over/Under - Farmer's cold-chunk wedges: man can hit a driver. The wedge, historically, has other plans. If there's a green-side flub in the group, check Farmer's hands first.. lol

Over/Under - Deano's driver count for the entire weekend: one 50-yard slice on Hole 3, Day 1, and that club is getting benched. History says he's playing the rest of the weekend out with his 4-iron off, muttering something about "feel," and pretending it was the plan all along…

Over/Under - Drew's Gin & Tonics on the drive down + tongue-out pics by Monday: the man arrives properly marinated and leaves with a group chat full of evidence. The drive is round zero, the pics are the postgame show!

Longest Odds, Individual Match Play: whoever draws Paddy Gs on Day 3 — may God have mercy

First team to blame the course setup: field is wide open!
